Mt. Olive - Calvin Ray Jones was born on May 2, 1963 to the late Elijah and Christie Frederick Jones.  He departed this earthly life at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC on April 1, 2017.

Calvin was a long -time truck driver.  To know him was to love him.

Calvin was preceded in death by his loving sister, Mattie Jones Branch.

Calvin leaves to cherish his loving memories to his wife of seventeen years, Carol Oates Jones; his daughter, Tyreeka S. Jones (Boo Boo); two step children Jalissa Leach and Demario Leach; two-step grandchildren, Zaniyah and Emiyah; one brother, Levon Jones (Andrea) of Mt. Olive, NC; two sisters, Evone Jones of Seven Springs,NC and Felecia Murphy (Kenneth) of Winston-Salem, NC; four loving aunts, Lillie Sanders (Melvin) of Florida, Zarey Williams (Johnnie) of Rose Hill, NC, Diana Buford of Mt. Olive, NC, and Christine Frederick of Warsaw, NC; special uncle, Otis Etheridge of Wilson, NC; mother in-law, Daphane Gray (Elvin); one brother in-law, Richard Oates; two sisters in-law, Nechelle Oates and Teresa Manley; four nieces, six great nephews, eleven great nieces; a host of special cousins, friends, and co-workers.
