Charles Anthony Logan, "Chazz" to some and "Anthony" to others, was born June 5, 1964 to Mary Louise Logan and the late Charles C. Logan in Newark, New Jersey. He departed this life at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville, New Jersey on April 20, 2018.
Anthony received his education in the South Plainfield school system and he attended Fayetteville State University. Growing up, he spent his summers in North Carolina with his grandparents, aunts and uncles, working in tobacco, learning the value of hard work. He spent his career working with White Castle Industries in New Jersey for over 28 years.
Standing at 6 ft. 4 inches, Anthony greeted you with a huge smile and even bigger hug. He loved his family; not only those who were biological, but also the close friends who became his second family. Usually the best dressed person in the room, Anthony will be remembered for his style, his large laugh, his love of travel & art, his love for his mother's cooking, but mostly for being a genuine friend to many.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Mary Louise Logan of Clayton, NC and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 275 N. Farm Dr. Clayton, NC.
