It was a joy to be associated with Gaynelle. I remember the times I had the pleasure of being with her when I visited her schools and at speech-language pathology professional meetings. Her warm smile, hearty laugh, gentle spirit, and sincere desire to improve the speech and language of students in the schools she served are well remembered. Today's good services for children and youth with disabilities were built on the pioneering work of Gaynelle and her colleagues. May the family enjoy many precious and joyful memories.

Her commitment and dedication to Christian Education is a legacy that will live forever in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. We thank you for sharing her with us.
