This special angel was born on April 3, 1934, the daughter of the late Louiza and Theodore Wooten.

A time to build…

Gracie attended Carver High School.  She retired after 30 years from the Bank of America, New York.

A time to die…

God saw fit to call Mother Gracie Hook to her heavenly home on September 23, 2017

A time to mourn…

Mother Gracie Hook leaves to cherish her memory, her three (3) daughters:  Magdalene (Eddie) Dukes, Columbia, SC, Renee’ (Daryl) Ford, Long Island, NY, and Sabrina Johnson, Durham, NC; one sister, Mary W. Davis, Mt. Olive, NC; two (2) God daughters, Eunece Rogers and Terry Johnson; 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 8 nieces, 8 nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mother Hook is being reunited with her deceased parents, Louiza and Theodore Wooten, her husband, Wilber Hook, one (1) daughter, Mary Ann Scott, one brother, Hiawatha Wooten, one (1) sister, Bertha Mae Johnson.

The family will receive friends at 114 Wayne Ave., Mt. Olive, NC.
