I remember Mr. Glaspie teaching French at FCHS. In his French class no English was spoken. The students soon learned the French word for repeat. As an adult I would see Mr. Glaspie at the post office or on voting day. We always spoke in French. he will be missed.

Mr. Glaspie was my favorite teacher. I had him for French from 1990-1992. He was a dear friend and we kept in touch, even when I moved to CA. My prayers are with you, his family. How blessed you were to have him in your family! I will miss him so much.

Mr. G was one of my favorite teachers at FCHS. He was stern, but fair. Although he had a serious look, he was quick with a joke, often times out of nowhere. Always calling rambunctious students a "jack with the other part hitched on to it". Mr. G, you will be sorely missed. I could count the teachers I loved on one hand. I'm proud to say you were among them.
