Warsaw - Mrs. Nellie Mae Kornegay, 91 of 935 NC 50 US 117 went from labor to reward on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville.

She is the daughter of the late Emanuel and Sallie Mae Jones Swinson and wife of the late Macon Kornegay.

She leaves to cherish her love and legacy to her children, Alexander Swinson of Balitmore, MD., Darlene (Miguel) Mateo of Lacey, WA., Roger D. (Tonya) Walls of Wallace, Macon Earl (Teresa) Kornegay of Warsaw and Gloria (Todd) Duffrin of Yelm, WA; two sisters, Rebecca of Goldsboro and Mayfield of Washington, DC; thirteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she has been reunited with her daughter, Rosemary Kornegay.
