Mt. Olive - Mrs. Ruth Jackson Herring, 89, transitioned on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton, NC.

Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Junious and Rachel Farrior Moore.

She leaves to cherish her love and legacy to her children, Elder Joseph ( Mary) Moore of LaGrange, Elder Rachel McClain of Mt. Olive, Mary (Kerry) Lofton of Mt. Olive, Sharon Garner of Mt. Olive and Sheila Jackson of Lawrenceville, GA; 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 19 great- great grandchildren.

She has been reunited with her daughters, Linda Glaspie, Brenda Jackson and Cynthia Baker.
