Born in Wayne Co., he is the son of the late William Billy Bowden Sr. and Thelma Whitfield Bowden.
Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of his children, Tiffany Usher and Sierra Usher of Houston, TX, Va'Shon Bowden of Greenville and Kristopher Bowden of Durham; four grandchildren; four sisters, Bessie Reed of Clayton, Eleanor Tart of Dudley, Felicia Ward of Kernersville and Kim Bowden of Columbia, MD. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Eleanor Tart, 101 Woods Dr. Dudley, NC.
