Braxton Ray Frederick Sr.

Warsaw - Elder Braxton R. Frederick Sr., 66 moved from his earthly home to his heavenly mansion he often preached about on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, Fayetteville.

Born in Halifax Co., Elder Frederick is the son of Evangelist Christine Davis Frederick and the late Deacon Lenzy Ray Frederick.

As a servant of the Lord, he served as pastor of Hines Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Warsaw and Piney Green Freewill Baptist Church, Mt. Olive.

He was a devoted family man that leaves to cherish, his wife, Debbie Vann Frederick of the home; daughter, Markita Frederick of Greenville; son, Braxton Frederick Jr. (Guadlup) of Warsaw; three grandchildren; his mother, Evangelist Christine Frederick of Mt. Olive; siblings, Troy Frederick (Ann) of Mt. Olive, Vickie Nickelson of Mt. Olive and Eldress Lori Collins (Pastor James) of Ayden; nieces, nephews, his church family, other relatives and friends.
