Carolyn Marie (Black) Champ

Dudley - Mrs. Carolyn Champ, 71 of 205 Athens Dr., transitioned Friday, March 15, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She was born October 17, 1947 in Oxford, NC to Frank Black and Pearline McClellan.

She leaves to cherish memories to her husband of 28 years, Joseph Champ of the home; two daughters, Teresa Crews and Cassandra (Fredrick) Lyon of Durham; four sons, Jerome (Karla) Crews , Keith Crews, Dwayne Crews all of Durham and Mario Crews of Greenville; two step-children, Angela Foss of Goldsboro and Brian Dunn of Chinquapin; fifteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildrenfour sisters, Garetta (Samuel) McGee, Diane (Eddie) Williams, Mattie Davis all of New Jersey and Frankie Jean (Bobby) Wilkins of Oxford; two brothers, Eddie McClellan and Benjamin McClellan of New Jersey. A host of other relatives and friends.
