Message from Toya D Brown...New York City

Growing up there were a lot of people that are responsible for raising me. I am truly a product of it takes a village to raise a child. My parents had close friends. The Brimmages, The Freemans, The Meeks, The Mitchell's,The Goodman's and the list goes on. I found out that my Uncle Freeman passed away. He was 93 years old. When I was growing up, I always spent time with him and Aunt Rosa. Countless backyard barbeques, church services, community events, the laundromat he owned, the projects he helped my mother with in school, the countless talks about getting my education and watching out for boys...lol. This was a deacon at heart. He loved and lived the word and could put some preachers to shame for his knowledge. He was a humanitarian and advocate for young people and helped all of us as much as could. He was another one, that when I visited his church, the New Pilgrim Baptist Church, I always had to sing a solo. He will be missed. I just talked to Aunt Rosa and I am asking that you pray for her and their family. They never had biological children, but a lot of us neices and nephews. God Bless you Uncle Freeman! A TRUE MAN OF GOD. S.I.P. John Freeman....you will be missed. The post of a pic of my mom and her best friend. That friend was his wife, Aunt Rosa. Never forget those who help you along the way!!!

Mrs. Freeman, family and friends:
Our sincere condolences to you on the loss of such a great person! My (Craig) childhood memories of him left a lasting impression with me which will last a lifetime. Those good ole days at his laundromat in East Elmhurst NY when he would play with me while Mom was doing the laundry. He was also a great teacher to me. We are thankful to have known him! May fond memories remain in your heart forever. Prayers ,love and blessings to you and your family during this difficult time.

Dear Rosa,
So sorry we will not be able to make the funeral. Your husband John Freeman was a very special person in our lives. Whenever he was around we know we were in for
a good teasing and a lot of laughter. We will really miss him. May God hold you and all our family in the palm of his hands during this most difficult time. Love you.

Mrs. Freeman and family and friends, Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. I hope you find peace.
Our wonderful father, God Almighty, Jehovah feels your pain, too. He promises a time in Revelation 21:1-4 this: “With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” A wonderful time ahead of us.

I hope this helps a little. Call me if you want to. 706-610 - 0681
