Mt. Olive - Mr. Linwood Darden, 68 of 2958 Summerlins Crossroad Rd. transitioned Monday, May 20, 2019 at North Carolina Veterans Home Kinston.
Born in Wayne Co., he is the son of the late John and Rhodie S. Darden.
He leaves to cherish his love and legacy to his wife, Rebecca Darden; four children, Tatanesha ( Darnell) Graham of LaGrange, Shaunda (Prince) Dugba of Magnolia, Cheyrl Darden and Desmond Darden of Goldsboro; three grandchildren; siblings, Betty (Joseph Sr.) Lanier of Goldsboro, Daniel (Sadie) Darden of Dudley, Ethel McCoy of Faison, Bernice (Clarence) Barksdale of Goldsboro and Bettie Goodman of Faison and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Lanier Sr., 504 Brock Rd. Goldsboro, NC.
