Warsaw - Mother Minnie Elizabeth Jeter was born on December 11, 1918 to the late Reddick Branch and the late Lattie Showers Branch in Duplin County. Minnie answered the master's call on January 10, 2018 at her home.
Minnie was educated in the Duplin County School System. She continued her education in Cosmetology School. She worked as a cosmetologist for many years.
Minnie joined Mount Zion United Holy Church at an early age. She was a dependable and faithful member. She enjoyed Sunday School, Bible Study, and praising the Lord. One of her favorite sons was " I'll take Jesus for Mine."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Jeter and her sister, Lucille Kenan.
Minnie was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Minnie leaves to cherish her precious memories to her children Ruby Weldon of the home, William Jeter, Jr. (Jean) of Washington, DC and Henry Jeter, Sr. of the home; one sister, Hazel Tutle of Miami, FL; six grandchildren, Henry Jeter, Jr. of New Haven CT, Charles Wright of New Jersey, James Weldon of Peekskill, NY, Trina Jeter of Washington, DC, Carlotta Griffin (Rodrick) of Washington, DC, Jennifer Jeter of Washington, DC; five great-grandchildren, Janay Jeter, Candace Jeter, Henry Jeter III, Jameera Weldon, Alissa Jeter; nine great-great grandchildren. She will truly be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
