Monroe McGowan Obituary

Kenansville - Mr. Monroe McGowan, 81 went from labor to reward on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

Born in Duplin Co., he is the son of the late Nathan and Joanna McIver McGowan.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of his wife, Christine McGowan of the home; three grandchildren, Demondra Hall, Shaquetta Hall and Jameel Hall of Kenansville; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Othel McGowan of Kenansville and James (Helen) McGowan of Kenansville; son-in-law, Clarence Hall of Kenansville and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he has been reunited with his daughter, Joanna McGowan Hall.
