Kenansville - Susie Mozingo, 74, of 456 N NC & 903 Hwy, passed at Raleigh Rehabilitation Center in Raleigh, NC.

Susie Branch Mozingo was born on Feb. 9, 1943, to the late Hall Branch and Dora Lee Merritt Branch.  She departed this life on Nov. 27, 2017 at Raleigh Rehab located in Raleigh NC.
Susie obtained her early education at E.E. Smith High School in Kenansville, NC.  Upon graduation she attended college at Shaw University where she pursued her degree in education.  While there she pledged and became a Delta Member.  
She taught school at Willard Elementary School and later taught at Kenansville Elementary until her retirement.
Susie joined Saint James AME Church in Kenansville at an early age.  She served as a Class Leader as long as her health permitted.

She was joined in holy matrimony to Aaron Norwood Mozingo, who preceded her in death.  This union was blessed with one child.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her daughter, Avarina Mozingo London, Raleigh, NC;one grandson, Ramel London, Conyers, Georgia; brother, James Boone, Detroit, Michigan; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
