Goldsboro - Mrs. Annie Mae Whitfield, 78 of 307 Brownrigg St. closed the curtains of this life Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care.
She is the daughter of the late Gladys Hocutt and Samuel L. Shepard and was born in Duplin County on April 6, 1943.
She leaves to cherish her love and lasting memories to her husband, Kenneth R. Whitfield; children, Patrick L. Hocutt, Gladys P. Hocutt, Annie Dolline Bell, her beloved grandson, Montreil. O. Hocutt and Tomarcus Graham; two sisters, Sharon Shepard and Leanna Dewitt Reynolds; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren; seven nephews. A host of other relatives and friends,
In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her children, Thomas E. Hocutt, Muhammad A. Hocutt, Willie A. Bell, Marquell D. Hocutt and Sheila G. Hocutt and brother, Frank L. Hocutt.
