Anthony Bethea

Raleigh - Mr. Anthony Bethea, 58 of 6118 Shanda Drive transitioned Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at his home.

Born in New York City, he is the son of Joe McLaurin and the late Ida Mae President Bethea.

His love and legacy will be forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Tomika Bethea of the home; four daughters, Keonda Lashea Robinson (Kory) of Jamestown, Shalecia Wallace (Kris) and Nafisah Flowers of Raleigh and  Cattina Coleman of Harlem, NY; five sons, Anthony Yevonne Bethea and James Wrighten of Bronx, NY, Anthony Bethea Jr. of Harlem, NY, Chase Bethea and Anthony Flowers of Newark, NJ; his parents, Joseph McLaurin (Loretta) of Bronx, NY and James Bethea (Carolyn) of Columbia, SC; six sisters, Concetta McLaurin of Elizabethtown, Joette McLaurin of Chicago, IL, Kimberly McLaurin of Charlotte, Adriane Bethea of Atlanta, GA, Cecelia Williams of Bronx, NY, and Cynthia Sumpter of Red Springs; as well as six grandchildren, aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, other family and friends who loved him dearly.
