Obituary
Clinton - Mrs. Aratha Mae Tripp, 94 answered the Master's call on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Southwood Nursing Center.
She is the daughter of the late James S. Stevens and Macie Morrisey Stevens and was born in Sampson Co. on February 29, 1928.
Cherished and loving memories will linger in the hearts of her children, Arnold R. Stevens of Baltimore, MD., Robertha (Trudy) Campbell of Pikesville, MD., and Elder Willie B. Tripp of Baltimore, MD; twelve grandchildren; ten greatgrandchildren; four siblings, Isabella McCalop of Brooklyn, NY, Henry Stevens (Betty) of Faison, Joseph Stevens (Lenora) of Goldsboro and Christine McPhail (Pastor Elwood) of Clinton; children that she loved as her own, Deacon Derrick and Michelle King and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her daughter, Mary Victoria "Vicky" Tripp; two grandchildren, Chico and Nicole and seven siblings.
