Ben Best

Warsaw- Deacon Harrison Benjamin "Ben" Best Jr., 84 of 3147 Bowden Rd., went from labor to reward at Rex UNC Rehabilitation & Nursing Center of Apex on Thursday, September 20, 2018.

Affectionately known as June, he was born in Duplin Co. to Deacon Harrison Benjamin Best Sr. and Mother Causie Best. June was beloved by all who knew him, both family and friends alike.

June was a member of Macedonia Apostolic Holiness Church where he served faithfully as a Deacon and the Sunday School Superintendent until his health declined. 

Cherished lifetime memories will linger on in the hearts of his wife, Mother Christine Best of the home; daughter, Phyllis Best of Clayton, NC; his beloved grandson, Christopher Harris, Winston-Salem, NC; five sisters, Jahnnie L. Best, Linda Best, Katie Best of Bowdens, NC, Mary B. Wicks, Washington, DC and Dianne B. Garris (Robert) of Dudley, NC; five brothers, Jimmy Best, Ervin Best (Barbara) of Bowdens, NC, Elder Swindell Best (Paula) of Warsaw, NC, Joe L. Best of Faison, NC and Willie J. Best of Washington, NC; one uncle, Rudolph Bell of Clinton, NC; and host of family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
