Bessie Armaetha (Frederick) Allen

Warsaw - Mrs. Bessie A. Allen, 76 went from labor to reward on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Dan and Bertha Frederick and wife of the late James. E. Allen.

She was known for her vibrant sense of humor, her honesty, and her ability to speak her mind with grace and wit.  Her warmth, laughter, and love for life touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her husband and parents, she has been reunited with her brother, Harrell Frederick and granddaughter, Niasha Shanae Allen.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted daughters, Angela (Rodney) Core and Debra (Willie Gregory) Smith; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings Elder Jose's Neill Smith of Augusta, Georgia, Cassandra Frederick of Warsaw, North Carolina and Larry Frederick of Washington, D.C. and a host of other relatives and friends.
