Bessie Gertrude (Thompson) Hargrove

Faison - Mother Bessie Hargrove, 90 transitioned from earth to glory on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at her home.

"Sissy" as she was affectionally called by family is the daughter of the late Albert Thompson and Elouise Underwood Thompson and wife of the late Ralph L. Hargrove.

A devoted member of Goshen Disciple Church, she served on the Mother Board, president of the Senior Choir and kitchen committee.

Loving and cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her daughter, Lisa Anders (Preston Jr.) of Knightdale; son, Ralph Anthony Hargrove of Durham; brothers, Gerald Ray Thompson of Clinton and Jimmy Thompson (Joyce) of Pennsauken, NJ, three grandchildren, Raphel Tedarris Hargrove-Hart (Darrell) of Charlotte, Brianna Harrison of Faison and Tonecia Alexander (Brent) of Rockville, MD; great-granddaughter, Jordan Alexander of Rockville, MD; special daughter, Loretta Miller of Chinquapin and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she has been reunited with her daughter, Sharon Hargrove and brothers and sisters.
