Betty McCullen

Mt. Olive - Mrs. Betty McCullen, 84 left the cares of this world and transitioned to life everlasting on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro.

"Ma Betty", as she was fondly called, was born on September 18, 1941, to the late Limmie Frederick and Betty Sue Armwood Frederick in Duplin County, North Carolina.

Ma Betty” leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband of 64 years, Harvey McCullen, Sr. of the home; children,  Bryson McCullen of Mount Olive, NC, Harvey McCullen, Jr. and Gina McCullen of Dudley, NC, Mary McNair of LaGrange, NC and Lowayne (Tiffany) McCullen of Dudley, NC.; stepdaughters, Betty Jean Smith of Warsaw, NC and Sharetta Hurder of Dudley, NC; twenty grandchildren; sixty great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; special sister and brother that were dear to her, Alice Teen Oates and Williams Frederick (Betty) of Faison, NC; special sisters-in-law, Francis Armwood of Battleboro, NC and Christine Frederick of Mount Olive, NC.
