Christine Barnes

Dudley - Ms. Christine Barnes, 77 of 101 Royal Ct. transitioned Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.

Christine Barnes, daughter of Mrs. Lillie Quinn Everett and the late Silveanus Everett was born September 21, 1944 in Duplin County.  She departed this life on   
September 30, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville NC.  

She received her education in the Duplin County School System. She was a member of St. Luke Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ in Mt. Olive, NC.

Christine was married to the late Rudolph Barnes, Sr. This union was blessed with two children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Barnes, Sr.; father, Silveanus Everett, and a sister, Linda Lee Ammons.

Christine leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Lillie Everett of Mt. Olive, NC; two children, Rudolph Barnes, Jr. (April) of Mt. Olive and Cynthia Barnes of the home; sister, Latoya Robinson; five grandchildren; Maria Dunn, (Steven) of Chandler, AZ, Christinia Barnes of Fayetteville, NC; Quentilia Owens (Kelvin) of Dudley, NC, Dominique Barnes of Warsaw, NC, and Joshia Wise of Mt. Olive NC; two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends; Susie Smith, of Faison, NC became a close friend whom she grew to love after she started attending Davita Dialysis in Mt. Olive NC.
