Cleburn “CJ” Morrisey was born April 27, 1955 to the late Cleburn Morrisey, Sr. and Margaret Jackson. Cleburn departed this earthly life to gain eternal rest with his Lord and Savior on November 6, 2020.
He leaves to cherish his memories to, his wife, Brenda Faye Morrisey; children, Calvin Morrisey of Dudley, Contina Morrisey of Dudley, Meesha Hatchell of Greensboro, Yumika Ward (Vincent) of Jacksonville, Derek Best of Greensboro and Marcus Newton of Warsaw; sixteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; five brothers, Larry Morrisey (Patricia), Jeffrey Morrisey, Timothy Morrisey, Gregory Morrisey (Mida) and Willie Morrisey; seven sisters, Katie Mae Brinson, Mary Ann Morrisey, (Rudy), Carolyn Powell (William), Osie Wilson (Ray), Debra Peterson, Pamela McMillian, and Sheila Nwaebiem (Umezulike); god-daughter, Cerrithia Solace of Dudley; two brothers in-law, Ronnie Newkirk of Virginia and William Sam Warren (Sheila) of Grantham; four sisters in law, Lydia Currie of Chapel Hill, Jean Newkirk of Mt. Olive, Helen Blackmon of Warsaw, and Reginia Newkirk of Clinton; other loving family members and friends.
