Clorinda Lee

Mt. Olive - Miss Clorinda Lee, 68 crossed over from this walk of life on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

Born in Wayne Co., she is the daughter of the late Cornell Lee and Mary Josephine Barfield Lee.

Clorinda was a graduate of Southern Wayne High School, Dudley and Bennett College, Greensboro.  Her affiliation with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was held close and dear to her heart.  She was a loyal and dedicated employee of WAGES where she served as Head Start Coordinator until her retirement.

Fond and loving memories will be cherished by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth Ray Lee (Jerilyn) of Mt. Olive, Cornelius Lee (Sherrell) of Warsaw and Marcus A . Lee (Clintonia) of Mt. Olive.  A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, an uncle, cousins and friends.

Clorinda's infectious laugh, along with her comedic demeanor will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her!
