Danny Douglas Smith

Mt. Olive - Mr. Danny Douglas Smith, 61 transitioned Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Duke University Hospital, Durham.

Born in Wayne Co., he is the son of the late James Douglas Smith and Sarah Kornegay Smith Williams.

Danny was a devoted member of Smith Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Warsaw, NC.  He was also a loyal and dedicated employee of Bay Valley Foods, Faison, NC where he rendered 37 years of faithful service.

In addition to his parents, he has been reunited with his siblings, Stevie Smith and Lisa McNair.

Cherished and loving memories will linger in hearts of his wife, Tinda Boseman Smith; three children, Terrance J. Boseman (Tria), Daniel R. Boseman (Dinesha) and Sequoya Mickens (Carter); eight grandchildren; one brother, Jonathan Smith (Dora); a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins and friends.
