Darrick Antonio Raiford

Dudley - Mr. Darrick A. Raiford, 52 departed this earthly life Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro.

Born in Wayne County, he is the son of Rex Coley and the late Brenda Raiford.

Cherished and loving memories will linger in the hearts of his wife, Crystal Raiford; four children, Tanora Dunn, Ashanti McFarland, Christopher Wright (Amaris) and Latia Young (James); fifteen grandchildren; father, Rex Coley (Carolyn); four siblings, Tomika McCalop (Sharn), Raimondi Raynor, Lacarous Outlaw (Sandra) and Anthony Brewington; six uncles and two aunts, (they were all raised as siblings of Darrick), Eddie Lee Raiford (Linda), Johnie Raiford (Mellar), Tony Raiford (Arlinda), Hattie Richardson (Kenneth), Leanderson Raiford (Wanda), Farron Atkinson, William Atkinson )Doris), Benita Brown (Eric) ; three sisters-in-law, Julie Tolbert (Darren), Jennifer Wilson and Melissa Taylors (Leroy); god-father, Pastor George Beary (Janice); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his mother, Darrick has been reunited with his grandmother/mama, Delores Atkinson; son, Brian Faison; brother, Ashanti Raiford and brother-in-law, Khe-sean Wilson.
