David Alvester Cobb

Goldsboro - Mr. David A. Cobb, 55 closed the curtains of this life Saturday, June 24, 2023.

Born in Wayne Co., he is the son of Walter Barksdale and Bertha Louise Cobb.

David enjoyed grilling and riding four wheelers, but nothing compared to his love for driving an eighteen wheeler truck on the open highway.

His love and comedic nature will be missed and cherished by his son, Joshua Cobb of Mt.Olive; five siblings, Thomas Barksdale (Hurlyn) of Greensboro, Cynthia Melvin (Malcolm) of Kernersville, Margaret Hartzog (David) of Springlake, Christopher Cobb of Roseboro and Lamont Cobb of Goldsboro; his special friend, Joyce Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
