Donna A. Melvin

Warsaw - Ms. Donna Melvin, 65 of 326 E. Best St., closed the curtain of this life on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville.

Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Addie Pearl Melvin and the late Clarence Bryant.

Donna was loving, giving and kind.  She was always smiling or laughing and would brighten up any room that she entered. Because of her selfless nature, she always put the needs of others before herself.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, to son, Janatis "Nat" Melvin of the home, Tyler Anderson of Castilia; two sisters, Mary Best of Goldsboro and Lisa Jacobs (David) of Knightdale; four brothers, John Williams of Kenansville, Hallie (Betty) Melvin of Beulaville,  Marvin Melvin of Clinton and Jerry Melvin of Raleigh; her son's father, James Robert Carlton of Warsaw; four granddaughters, two grandsons and four great grandchildren.  A host of nephews, other relatives and friends.
