Mt. Olive - Ms. Dora L. King, 83 closed her eyes and entered life everlasting on Friday, January 21, 2022 at her home.
Born in Sampson Co., she is the daughter of the late Dennis Ozzie King and Flora Queen King. She received her education in the Sampson County Public Schools. Early in life, she joined Goshen Disciple Church and remained a faithful member until her death. She retired from Mt. Olive Pickle Company in 2001.
Her passions included sharing historical data with her family and friends, decorating and cooking.
She leaves to cherish her love and legacy to her daughter, Tatetia Robinson; grandsons, Tarnaus Robinson (Brittany) and Renaldo Davis (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Morriah Robinson, Titus Robinson, Alyssa Davis and Rhian Chambers; son-in-law, Clyde Davis; siblings, Annie Bell of Goldsboro, Joe King (Lela) of Faison, Benjamin King (Vera) of Faison, Cynthia King of Goldsboro, Sandra Darden (Willie) Faison, Jessica Ricks (James) of Wilson, Veronica Bell (Henry) of Fayetteville, Timothy King (Marion) of Wake Forest, Jaron King of Faison and Jamell Lewis of Dudley. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her son, Terry, daughter, Judiette Davis; sisters, Ruth, Edna, Mary, Gladys, Joan and Geraldine; brother, Albert; sister-in-law, Jesse Manley and brother-in-law, John Bell.
