Faison - Mother Dorothy Parker, 87 was gifted to her parents on March 13, 1939 by God and she returned to Him on March 13, 2026 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro.
Born in Lenior Co., she is the daughter of the late William Forest Davis and Callie Lofton Davis and wife of the late Leonard Parker.
"Dot" or "Ms. Dot" as she was affectionally called by family and friends was a devoted member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Olive where she served on the Mother Board.
In addition to her husband and parents, she has been reunited with her siblings, Neicy Moore, William Forest Davis Jr., Edwin A. Davis, Willie R. Davis, Shelvia Jean Edwards and Otha Davis.
She leaves to cherish loving memories to her children, Karen Davis Wright of Faison, Michael A.(Lanorfeia) Parker of Eads, TN and Laura M. Parker of Huntersville; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; siblings, Shirley R. Wells of Wilson, Rev. James A. (Jean) Davis of Wilson, Mamie D. Sherard and Gloria Gail Hardy of Goldsboro and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
