Dudley - Mr. Earnest Carl Tate, 82 left the cares of this world on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at his home.
Born in Wayne Co., he is the son of the late William Tate and Frances Corbett Tate and husband of the late Nettie Lucille Williams Tate.
In addition to wife and parents, he has been reunited with his siblings, Curtis Jacobs, Lillian Outlaw, David Lee Tate, Shirley Ann Grady, Kenneth Earl Tate and Bernice Tate and grandson, Daniel Croom.
Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of his children, Donnie Tate of Goldsboro, David Tate (Tonia) of Charlotte, Felecia Tate of Dudley, Ray Tate and Jonathan Tate of the home and Sarena Barnhill Wilson (Robert) of Norwich, CT; grandchildren, Iesha Tate, Trel Bizzell, Destinee Tate Dawnee Tate, Alicia Tate, Shonte Howard, Ati'ana Russell, Kashmere Kornegay, Chamere Kornegay and Alaye' Elliott; great grandchildren, Marquis, Danielle, Terrancio, Treyvion, Sion, Coryelle, Darius, Cymir, Aaliyah, D'Azia, Akai and Quincy; twin brother, Bernest Tate of New London, CT,; special niece who was like his sister, Linda McBride, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
