Easter Mae (Carlton) Phillips

Goldsboro - Ms. Easter Mae Phillips, 78 heard the voice of the Lord Monday, September 18, 2023 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Euria Carlton and Annie Bass Carlton.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church, Mt. Olive.  She will be laid to rest at Carver Cemetery.

She leaves to cherish loving memories to her sons, Michael Phillips (Stacie) and Darrin Phillips (Naomi); five grandchildren, Michael Harvey, Michael Phillips Jr., Jordan Phillips, Amber Phillips and Darrin Phillips Jr.; great grandchildren; one sister, Annie Long; three brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews and friends,

In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with siblings, Clara Williams, Mattie Powell, Paul Carlton, Daniel Carlton Horace Carlton and Samuel Carlton.
