Warsaw - Mr. Eric Emmanuel Faison, 46 transitioned Friday, August 16, 2024 at ECU Health Duplin Hospital, Kenansville.
"Byrd Man" as he was affectionally called by family and friends was born in Duplin County and is the son of Willie Emerson Faison and Rena Artis Faison.
Cherished and loving memories will remain in the hearts of his children, Keelan Louis Jones of Rose Hill, Kamarion Emmanuel Faison of Maysville, Javion Marquis Peterson, Da'Nasia Ross, Diamond Harris, and Deoveon Harris all of Warsaw; two grandsons, Drelyn Harris and Ken Dailyn Morrisey; parents, Rena Faye Faison of Clinton and Willie Emerson Faison of Faison; grandmother, Annie Belle Faison of Faison; siblings, Pamelia Faison Davis (Devon) of Garland, Serena Faison (Anthony Kornegay) of Clinton, Willie Emerson Faison Jr. of Warsaw and Russell Joyner and children of Clinton; nieces & nephews, Analaysia Davis, Kassim Worrells, Jared Faison, Quantavious Faison, Kadayia Faison, Jada Faison, Jaden Eric Faison, Rico Wright, and Amoye Wiggins; aunts and uncles, Dennis Smith, James Artis (Angie), Harry Smith, John Smith, Cheryl Artis (Robert), Gladys Joyner (Donald), Linda Artis, Lottie Oates, Alice Kornegay, David Lee Faison, Pam Taylor, Dianna Humphrey, Gloria Bennett and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
He has been reunited with his uncles, Ronald "Gene" Smith and Michael Smith and grandmother, Shirley Smith.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 134 Ruby Lane, Clinton.
