Eva Brinson

Kenansville - Ms. Eva Mae Brinson, 81 was called from time to eternity on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Kenansville Health & Rehabilitation.

Born in New Hanover, Co., she is the daughter of the late Jesse Johnson and Elnora Johnson Manley.

She attended Douglas High School and was a graduate of 1961.

Eva was a loving person.  She loved her family unconditionally. She loved her church, St. Jude Disciple Church where she was a faithful member and usher until her health declined.

She leaves to cherish her love and legacy to her son, Cornelius Brinson (Melanie) of Mrytle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren; five siblings, Lucille Bass of Kenansville, Barbara Faison (Cleon) of Turkey, Beatrice Williams of Kenansville, Rosa Chestnutt of Kenansville and William Johnson (Judy) of Fayetteville; a devoted niece, Felecia Rose of Wilmington and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her siblings, Mary Williams and Odessa Powell.
