Mt. Olive - Mr. Fletcher H. Bizzell, 82 of 155 Barwick Rd. completed his earthly journey Friday, January 8, 2021 at his home.
He was born the first of six children in Wayne County on September 15, 1938 to the late Lepolia Bizzell and Mildred Cousins Bizzell.
His early education was received in Duplin County and he graduated from E.E. Smith High School in 1956 with honors. Immediately following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and dutifully served his country for four years. He received an honorable discharge in 1960.
His work ethic was impeccable. This was demonstrated by his employment with Kemp Furniture Industries for twenty four years and Excell Home Fashions for twenty one years.
He leaves to cherish loving memories to his brothers, Dwight Bizzell and Dale Bizzell of Goldsboro; niece and nephews, Selena Wilson of Goldsboro, Terrence Bizzell of Dudley and Danya (LaVerne) Bizzell of Wake Forest; aunt, Mamie Lofton of Dudley; sister-in-law, Barbara Haymon Bizzell of Mt, Olive; great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he has been reunited with his siblings, Mary Susan Bizzell, Melvin Lee Bizzell and Milford Bizzell.
Fletcher's comical demeanor and love for his fellowman will be greatly missed.
