Frank Armwood Jr.

Mt. Olive - Mr. Frank  Armwood Jr., 91 of 226 E. Franklin St. transitioned Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Vidant Duplin Hospital.

"Dick" as he was affectionately called was born in Sampson Co. on September 5, 1927 to Bessie Armwood and Daniel Boone.

He leaves to cherish his love and legacy to one daughter, Deloris Langley Wells of Mt. Olive; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Edna Davis of Dudley, Florene Faison and Linda Faison of New York; son-in-law, Charles Kornegay of Mt. Olive and a host of other relatives and friends,

In addition to his parents, he has been reunited with his wife, Christine Bass Armwood; son, Charlie Armwood Jr.; daughter, Peggy Kornegay, and siblings, Rosa Lee Faison, Louise Faison, Lucy Faison, Doris Wilson, Robert Faison and Frank Armwood.
