Helen Marie (McCullen) Carr

Dudley - Mother Helen Marie Carr, 92 eased from the labor of time into the joy of eternity Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at home.

Mother Carr was the daughter of the late Albert and Anna Mae McCullen and was married to the late James Lee Carr Sr.

She is survived by eight children, Ernest McCullen (Jean Bynum) of Goldsboro, Edward McCullen (Stella) of Dudley, Vivian McCullen of Raleigh, William McCullen of Dudley, Diann Royal (Linwood) of Dudley, Vera Carr of the home, Eva Faye Carr of Dudley and James Lee Carr Jr. of Wells, KS; Two bonus daughters, Ann Cromartie and Canary King of Mt. Olive; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she has been reunited with her siblings, Council, Lucy, Eva, Lillie, Albert Jr., Flora Lee, Fannie, Ella Mae, Levander, Annette and James.
