Helen Marie Faison

Mt. Olive - Mother Helen Marie Faison, 82 of 208 E. Hillsboro St. transitioned Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born in Sampson Co., she is the daughter of the late Samuel and Lila Best Faison.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her grandson, Kendrick O. Faison; her great-grandchildren, Maliyah Raynor, Octavis Faison and Kaylee Faison; brother John Lee Faison of Columbia, SC; sisters, Mattie Pearl Stukes and Sarah Jane Miller of Mt. Olive and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she has been reunited with her daughter, Janis Marie Faison; sisters, Mable (Stella) Durant, Cora Faison, Lila Mae Graham; brothers, Ralph Faison, Samuel Faison Jr. and Willie Ray Faison and her granddaughter, Sharmmerisha Latreisha Faison.

Mother Helen's Christian life was, as beautiful as, the flowers that she loved to care for--as she enjoyed their fragrance in her room.  Like the memory of those flowers, Mother Faison's spirit and her positive influence will forever remain in the lives of all of those who knew and loved her.
