James G. Anderson Jr.

Goldsboro - Mr. James Anderson Jr., 76 of 524 W. New Hope Rd. departed this earthly life Monday, May 10, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

He was born in Bronx, New York on June 1, 1944 to James Anderson Sr. and Edith Anderson. He was preceded in death by his wife Marion Anderson and son James Anderson III.

James served in the Unites States Army during Vietnam and earned a Bronze star along with other medals and honors after being honorably discharged he worked in security and banking until retiring. He loved movies, word search puzzles and reminiscing about the old times. He and his wife Marion moved to NC in 2016 to be closer to Marion’s family. They enjoyed the slower pace here and enjoyed family.

He is survived by daughter, Kerri Anderson. Three brothers, Walter (Betty) Anderson, Reuben Anderson and Leon Anderson; one sister, Edith Barrett.  Also a devoted niece, Apryl Roach along with other nieces, nephews, and friends.
