James Emanuel Fenton

Mt. Olive - Mr. James E. Fenton, 85 transitioned to his new heavenly address Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Wayne UNC Health Care.

He is the son of the late Elbert and Nellie Fenton and was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on September 3, 1938.

Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of his sons, Johnny Davis and Emanuel "Twin" Fenton; five stepchildren, James (Patricia Ann) Leonard, Larry (Sylvia Faye) Leonard, Daisy (Ashley) Jordan, Betty (Harry) Dent and Anthony Davis; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; two nephews, Billy Charles and Bishop Peter Fenton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends,

In addition to his parents, he has been reunited with the love of his life, Edna Earl Davis.
