Mt. Olive - Mr. James M. McClain, 73 departed this earthly realm Monday, October 10, 2022 at his home.

Born in Wayne Co., he is the son of the late Frank Sr. and Elizabeth B. McClain.

He attended Carver High School and was a dedicated employee at Georgia Pacific for 38 years.

Loving memories will linger in the hearts of his wife, Evangelist Vondra D. McClain of the home; three children, Angela (Michael) Neal of Goldsboro, Kimmala S. (Barnabus) Roundtree of Fairfax Station, VA and TeShaun (James) McClain-Rodgers of Goldsboro; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Frank McClain Jr, of Mt Olive, Sherman (Linda) McClain of Dudley and Norwood (Nell) McClain of South Carolina; three sisters, Janet (Ralph) Ransom of Hampton, VA, Eunice Martin of Dudley and Betty Joyce (Jessie) Thomas of Newark, NJ. and a host of nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins and friends,
