Jammie Royall

Mt. Olive - Mr. Jammie Royall, 63, transitioned July 18, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Wayne Co. on February 2, 1962, to the late Elucian Royall, Sr. and Mary Louise Moore Royall.

Jammie graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1980.  After graduation, Jammie worked in many capacities including Bobby Denning Furniture as accounts manager.  Jammie worked approximately 20 years with the Town of Mount Olive.  He was Public Works Director and most recently Town Manager.

Jammie leaves cherished memories with his son, Khary Royall (Stacy); his significant other, Geraldine Miller; daughters, Ha'Neefa Best (Will) and LaTisha Taylor (Keith); grandchildren, Keshon Taylor, Darrius Best, Marajia Miller, Nicholas Best (Diamond), Kayla Taylor, Kaleb Taylor, Ny'Quria Best, Keniya Taylor, Ny'lah Best and Serenity Royall; brothers, Jeffrey Royall and Joseph Royall,God daughter, Sharrell Armwood and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Jammie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, William Royall, Elucian Royall, Jr. and Lillie Royall.
