Jeanette (Armwood) Ward

Raleigh - Ms. Jeanette Ward, 72 of 813 Suffolk Blvd. went from labor to reward on Monday, January 3, 2022 at WakeMed, Raleigh.

She is the daughter of the late Algremon Hargrove and Mable Stevens and was born in Sampson County on April 14, 1949.

A time of viewing and reflection will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 at Garris Funeral Home Chapel  from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

She leaves to cherish loving memories to her children, Angelo Armwood of Maryland, Annette Katrina King (Darryl) of Enfield, CT., Akisha Ray (Carl Jr.) of Lithonia, GA., Latoya Ward of Palm Coast, FL., and Sherrelle Ward of Lithonia, GA.; nine grandchildren, Jesse Jones, Porchea Matthews, Avionna Matthews, Lexis Mitchell, Aaliyah Matthews, Harlem Caldwell, Cyndey Armwood, Caiden Ray and Elijah Smith; seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Maurice Southerland of Warsaw and Ida Adamson of Chicopee, Mass.  A host of other relatives and friends, including her best friend, JoAnn White of Springfield, Mass.

Her love of family and feeding whom ever entered her home will be missed and cherished by all who knew and loved her.
