John Merritt Jr. Obituary

Warsaw - Mr. John Edward Merritt Jr., 78 transitioned Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born in Sampson Co., he is the son of the late John E. Merritt Sr. and Jannie Fryar Morrisey.

He leaves to cherish loving memories to his siblings, Pastor Dwight L. Morrisey, Betty Grace Hicks, Ezzie Vaniese Merritt, Linda Merritt Johnson, Romeo Henry Morrisey, Dinah F. Monk, Gwendolyn M. Simmons and Quennie Morrisey Schauss.

The family will receive visitors at the home of Linda Johnson, 132 Macon Morrrisey Rd. Warsaw on November 15 & 16, 2018.

Burial will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 12 noon at Mt. Zion AME Church, 11015 Taylor's Bridge Rd. Magnolia which is located in the Delway Community.
