Mt. Olive - Mr. John Underwood, 68 entered into eternal rest Friday, September 20, 2024 at Wayne UNC Health Care.
" Johnny " as he was affectionally known was born In Wayne County to the parentage of the late Willie Ray Davis and Mary Lois Underwood.
He leaves to cherish his memories four siblings, Gary Peebles of Atlanta, GA., Gloria J. Davis of Warsaw, NC, Donald R Davis of Concord, NC and Malinda D. Wilson (Reginald) of Greensboro, NC; bonus mom, Malaria C. Davis of Winston-Selem, NC; two uncles Johnny Reid of Brooklyn, NY and Rev. James A. Davis (Jean) of Wilson, NC; four aunts Shirely D. Wells of Wilson, NC, Dorothy D. Parker of Faison, NC, Mamie D. Sherard and Gloria D. Hardy, both of Goldsboro, NC; God-mother, Ida Mae Davis and God-siblings; two special cousins, Vicky Darden, Ambassador of Affairs of Mt. Olive, NC and Rebecker Matthews of Cary, NC, two special friends, Larry Allen and Gerald Autman; two nieces, two nephews, other cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents Johnny has been reunited with materteral grandparents John E. Underwood and Mable E. Reid; paternal grandparents William and Callie Davis; two sisters Debbie A. Davis and Bobbie M Davis three uncles William F. Davis Jr., Aldrich E. Davis, and Otha L Davis; Four aunts, Judy Reid, Bernice Matthews, Neicy G. Moore and Shelvia D. Edwards.
