Chinquapin - Mrs. Juanita Pickett, 90 of 463 S NC 111 Hwy closed her eyes and entered life everlasting Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Brian Center, Wallace.
Life Celebration Service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 12 noon at First Missionary Baptist Church Chinquapin. She will be laid to rest in the Chasten Family Cemetery.
Born in Duplin Co. she is the daughter of the late John and Lillian Kelly Chasten and wife of the late Christopher Columbus Pickett.
Her love and legacy will forever be cherished by her children, Doris Brown, Theresa (Phillip) Farland and Janice Ademu-John; one step-son, Paul Williams; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; sisters, Willie C. Jones, Gertie L. Chasten and Mozelle C. George. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends,
In addition to her parents and husband, she has been reunited with her sons, Herman Lee Pickett and Thurman E. Pickett; son in-law, Robert Brown; siblings, Elma C. Williams, James H. Chasten, Ervin L. Chasten and Esther C. Durham.
