Wallace - Mrs. Katie Mae Armwood, 72 of 325 N. Orange St. entered into eternal rest Thursday, November 26, 2020 at Vidant Duplin Hospital, Kenansville.

Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Vester and Maggie Glaspie Hicks and wife of the late James Armwood.

Her love and legacy will be forever cherished by her children, Tracy Wilson of Durham, Andre (Shanita) Russell of Kenansville and Edward Russell of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Tierra Wilson and Daraka Wilson of Durham and Cameron Russell and Carmen Russell of Kenansville; brother/nephew, Jimmy Hicks of Warsaw; two sisters, Christine (Coley) Mearite of Bentonville, SC and Letha Graham of Mt. Olive. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
