Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late John Wesley and Mable Herring Frederick.

Playing the piano, sewing, cooking and puzzles were her enjoyments, but nothing compared to spending time with her grandchildren and grandpuppy.

Her love and legacy will be cherished by her children, Deborah (Robert) Folk of Las Vegas, NV, Anita (Thomas) Sampson of Dudley, Michael Frederick of the home; Patricia (Leroy) Mitchell of Dudley and Cynthia Jones of Mt. Olive; goddaughter, Juanita Davis of Mt. Olive; eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Nancy Jones of Goldsboro and Betty Frederick of Philadelphia, PA; brother-in-law, Lewis Leach of Dudley; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
