Calypso - Apostle Kenneth J. Leach, 75, heard the voice of the Lord Sunday, January 15, 2023 at UNC Health Johnston Hospital.
Apostle Leach was born in Sampson County to his parents, Mary George Leach and the late James Howard Leach.
His love and legacy will live in the hearts of his wife, Eldress Lottie Leach; mother, Mary Leach; two daughters, Lorri Leach of Dudley and Stephanie Koonce (King) of Jamesville; three sons, Dwight Little of Dudley, Leodis Hamlin Jr. of Wallace and Baron Brown of the home; twenty-one grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five special grandchildren, Timothy, Ametria and Le'Nya of the home, Justin and Tamyra of Four Oaks; one godchild, Sincere of Kinston; six brothers, Robert Leach of Goldsboro, Douglas Leach (Sally) of Faison, Jimmy Leach of Faison, Sylvester Leach of Clinton, Darnell Leach (Gloria) of Dudley and Charles Leach of Fayetteville; nine sisters, Mattie Coleman of Dudley, Mary McClamb of Clinton, Sudie Johnson of Clinton, Bessie Wise (Jeffrey) Goldsboro, Elizabeth Rainwater (Tim) of Georgia, Jeanette Howard (Ferris) Rivera Beach, FL, Annette Leach of Clinton, Patricia Sutton (Donald) of Clinton and Osia Middleton of Clinton; three brothers-in-law, William Baker Jr. of Virginia, Roy Nobles of Las Vegas, NV and Edward Nobles of Brooklyn, NY; special niece that is like a daughter, Bridgette Williams (Carl) of Faison; special friends, James Marshall, Elder Michale Boykin, Elder Lee Roy Leatherberry, Apostle Robert Oates and George Junior Leach; an aunt and uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Little Howard and Roscoe.
